How to get to Jinja Source of the Nile

From Kampala Via Gayaza-Kampala-Mukono road, Jinja is 107km away taking a drive time of 2h 43min along a dirt road from Kampala to Namataba then a tarmac road to Jinja.

Another road option is the Kampala-Mukono-Nakifuma-Jinja road covering about 163km with a total drive time of 3h 30min. This route is a bit distant though it has less traffic and offers another remote country side experience.

From Entebbe International airport, Jinja is 119.9km away via Kampala-Mukono-Jinja road with a drive time of about 3h 28min. The best safari experience is only possible if you travel by road such that you can stop over along the way on some spots.
